CROATIA SAILING ADVENTURE RETREAT
September 2-9, 2017
The journey of sailing can be transformative. It enhances our practice as we engage in mindfulness among serene and awe-inspiring environments while being immersed in nature and inspired to go with the flow (wind, sun, and water). This 7 day journey brought crew to a stunning mountain backdrop, rugged coast, in the clear turquoise waters of the Adriatic Sea. It felt as though we were living in a dream. We spent our days visiting immaculate beaches, cliffs, caves, remote fishing villages, and medieval towns with the smells of lavender, the delights of fresh seafood and the pleasures of local wine. We practiced yoga along the shore and stayed on a deluxe yacht which brought us from the port of Split to explore the islands of Vis, Hvar, and Brac, visiting famous beaches such as Bol and Stiniva and quaint towns like Stari Grad and Komiza. This retreat was in collaboration with Live Sail Explore, under Captain Armin Kadic and 1st Mate Jeremy Lee.
CHANNEL CHIDAKASHA: YIN & YOGA NIDRA WITH DJ JAMIE SCHWABL FESTIVAL TOUR 2017
Oregon Global Eclipse Gathering / Genius Loci / Lightning in a Bottle
This offering brought hundreds of yogis together to relax their bodies and minds completely with dynamic stretches + ambient beats + guided visualization. Yogis blissed out to a curated balance of movement + sound that harmonized their energy with the environment + brought balance within. We invited yogis who attended to experience infinity or the presence of the omniscient universe through meditation. Yoga Nidra or lucid sleep, is a technique that relieves tension from the physical body and perceived mind leaving you feeling peacefully well rested. Our goal was for our audience to discover a deep state of tranquility while maintaining full awareness. The ultimate goal of Channel Chidakasha is to connect to the space of internal consciousness.
BALI YOGA RETREAT
March 10-17, 2017
Twenty four yogis traveled across the globe to experience the vibrant culture of Bali through the art of sacred movement and healing. We invited our students to discover antique Ubud, Bali nestled in lush tropical gardens surrounded by 360 degrees of rice patty fields. Each day we indulged in meditation, thai and balinese massage, feel-good vinyasa flow, yin and partner yoga (Acro Yoga). Daily excursions included visits to local craft market, the Monkey Forest, cleansed in the Tirta Empul sacred water temple, white water river rafting, cooking classes, sunrise hike to top of Mt Agung, and a Balinese home tour. All meals provided were locally sources, vegetarian and organic. We had private local guides who shuttled us around the beautiful island and educated us about the community. The experience was so life changing that over half of the retreat attendees got matching balinese tattoos to commemorate their experience! This rejuvenating spring retreat was located at Naya Ubud and lead by Laurel Erilane, Amanda Murphy & Rian Basilio.
BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS SAILING ADVENTURE RETREAT
January 21-29, 2017
Teaching yoga while sailing in the Caribbean was a dream come true (before the resent hurricane devastation). We were blessed with beautiful turquoise waters, barefoot walks on white sandy beaches and an experience that highlighted the vibrant culture of the Caribbean through the art of sacred movement and healing. The British Virgin Islands (BVIs) are considered the best cruising grounds in the world, with consistent trade winds and warm temperatures all winter. The islands are close together, making it easy and quick to sail from harbor to harbor. This seven day sailing yoga retreat started in Road Town, Tortola and circumnavigated the Virgin Islands. Each day, we sailed to a unique island where we spent the night on our yacht, practiced yoga, cooked aboard or dine out, and used a dinghy to go ashore to explore the local culture, beautiful beaches, and incredible scenery. Some notable experiences included rock climbing in Virgin Gorda, visiting "The Baths," hiking in Spanish Town, eating Lobsters in Anegada, kayaking around Jost Van Dyke, visiting Willy T's + The Soggy Dollar, and snorkeling off the boat with tropical fish. This event was in collaboration with Live Sail Explore, under Captain Armin Kadic & First Mate Jeremy Lee.
July 1-4, 2016
This event was about celebrating your freedom to REST, to RESTORE, and to RELAX! The goal was to achieve balance in the festival experience, actually creating a restful experience. The intention was to provide an event somewhere between retreat and festival where people felt a sense of community and connected on a deeper level, while also exploring more deeply some of the things we all love - yoga, music, food and dance. Guests enjoyed classes in acro yoga, aerial yoga, yin, yoga nidra, kundalini, hooping, thai yoga massage, trigger point therapy, and essential oils. They also had the opportunity to listen to discussions on Ayurveda and Tantra. In addition, all meals provided were organic, vegan, locally sourced and made with love.

I.G. Getaway was a weekend celebration of Yoga on social media followed by a week-long exploration of Yoga in Los Angeles. I.G. stands for Inspiration Generation, a community and collaboration of students, teachers, studios and businesses that thrive to promote the enhancement of our lives through the practice of Yoga. We came together to inspire one another so the benefits of Yoga can reach as many people as possible, both within our immediate communities and around the world. I.G. is committed to giving back to the community. We partnered with local businesses that shared our vision and donated a portion of our proceeds to designated charities. All of our social media challenges are designed to raise awareness for causes that need more support.
